PROJECT: In 2009, in a very different San Francisco, I, along with two of my close friends, helped spearhead our long-running zine, asiwouldsay, into a multimedia DIY creative space and gallery in the Hayes Valley neighborhood. The gallery housed numerous of the zineʻs contributors via quarterly art shows and installations. We also had a studio to record mixes and original music in the back. The space served as a mecca for a brief time for our friends and creative community, and quite a few zines were released from its walls.
